1. Our commitment
Crowsnest Group LLC, the operator of Grailmate, is committed to making the Grailmate website and mobile application usable by people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time effort, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.
2. Standard we target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. For the Grailmate iOS application, we follow Apple's Human Interface Guidelines for accessibility and use Apple's built-in accessibility frameworks (such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type) so the app integrates with the accessibility settings users configure on their device.
The grailmate.app website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard; known limitations are described in Section 5 below.
3. Measures we take
To support accessibility on the Grailmate website (grailmate.app), we:
- Use semantic HTML structure (proper heading hierarchy and landmark elements) so that assistive technology can navigate the page efficiently.
- Provide descriptive alternative text for meaningful images and mark decorative images appropriately.
- Write link text that describes the destination rather than relying on phrases like “click here.”
- Set the document language so assistive technology pronounces content correctly.
- Do not disable browser zoom — users can resize content using their browser or operating system controls.
- Respect the operating-system
prefers-reduced-motionsetting for users who have requested reduced motion. - Provide a visible focus indicator on interactive elements so keyboard users can see their position on the page.
4. Compatibility
The grailmate.app website is designed to be compatible with the most recent versions of major web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including:
- Screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android, NVDA, JAWS)
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Operating-system text-size and contrast settings
Some features may not behave as expected in significantly older browsers or older versions of assistive software.
5. Known limitations
We work to keep the Grailmate website and app accessible, but some limitations exist or may exist from time to time:
- Third-party destinations. Some pages link out to third-party marketplaces (such as StockX, GOAT, and eBay) and to authentication services (such as Apple). The accessibility of those external destinations is governed by their operators, not by Grailmate.
- Active development. We regularly update the website and app. Newly added features may take time to fully meet our accessibility target. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know.
- Pre-launch state. Grailmate is currently in a pre-launch period; we are conducting accessibility review before public availability and remediating items as they are identified.
6. Feedback and contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Grailmate website or app, or if you have a suggestion for how we can improve, we want to hear from you. We treat accessibility reports as a priority and we aim to acknowledge them within five business days.
Accessibility contact: accessibility@grailmate.app
General support: support@grailmate.app
When you contact us, it helps if you can tell us where you encountered the barrier (the page URL or the part of the app), what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you were using.
7. Formal complaint
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility report, you may also contact a disability-rights enforcement authority. In the United States, the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division publishes information about filing a complaint under the Americans with Disabilities Act at ada.gov/file-a-complaint.
8. Assessment approach
We evaluate the Grailmate website using a combination of:
- Manual review by Crowsnest Group against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.
- Automated accessibility scanning tools (such as axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse) run as part of our pre-release process.
9. About this statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to the grailmate.app website and to the Grailmate iOS application published by Crowsnest Group LLC, doing business as Grailmate. We will update this statement as our accessibility practices evolve.
